HOW COME PEOPLE ARE SO DIFFERENT?

The principle reason is... each of us has lived a great many different lifetimes that naturally condition how we impact and respond to this lifetime.  However... unless you are raised in the East, you may not be aware of the concept of Reincarnation?  Or the concept that the Soul is immortal, and that we Souls have as many lifetimes as we require to fulfill the "Purpose of Life"... which is to play let's pretend in the garden of Life until one's Soul becomes completely satiated with what the Creation has to offer!

And it is not at all surprising if the reader is not familiar with what I have just written.  In the West, we are raised to believe that the Soul only has one life to live.

Whereas, in Reality, we have as many lifetimes as we want or need to experience in order to fulfill whatever desires we can imagine exploring.   We have an unlimited time frame in which to explore and experience what the Creation has to offer us.   But  the design of the Creation is such that the Reality of Life is really well hidden.

In addition, there is the Law of Karma, which was designed by God, and whose definition is this:  "As you sow, so shall you reap".  So, everyone of us alive today has been in the Creation since it began... some say 43 million years ago. Are you tired of playing in the Creation yet?  If not, there's a great many things left to explore. And  the cycle of four more Ages  [which will begin at the close of Armageddon],  beginning with the Golden Age, then the Silver Age, then the Copper Age, and finally another Iron Age.

For me, and speaking personally, of course... I am quite ready to leave the Creation.

There is a point, for every Soul, I believe... in which the wonder of life... begins to change, and instead of one focusing on the many wonderful things one has not as yet experienced, one begins to notice poverty, crime, violence, hatred, and other seemingly natural aspects and miseries of life.  That which allows one to "see" [and to feel] the pain and suffering of others is called empathy.  And empathy is the natural result of having experienced pain and suffering oneself.. in who knows how many lifetimes?

So, on that  note, let me close with the popular saying:  Have a nice day!

What Was B.F. Skinner's Greatest Contribution to the field of Psychology?

Quite likely it would be the thousands of Veterans and young people who commit suicide every year, due to the failure of Psychology to help them... because psychology no longer deals with the Whole Human Being.

In the early 1900s, Skinner, as the head of a group of scientists who were confined to the malady of Intellectualism, somehow convinced the field of Psychology to allow Skinner and his group to call their abuse of animals by the label "behavioral psychology".  And from that time to the present, the field of "psychology" has been systematically eliminating and removing from the field of "psychology" everything the ancient Greeks gave the world as Psychology, or the study of the Psyche of Man.

The Greek term "Psyche" is defined as referring to "Self, Soul, and MIND," which are all Esoteric terms.  That is, terms created to stand for elements of Man that are invisible to the brain and physical senses.  That is, elements such as one's MIND [which I refer to as the I-MIND, to emphasize the fact that the MIND of Man is Invisible to the brain]. A key to the term Esoteric is the fact that the entire Spiritual Dimension of Man is invisible to the physical dimension of Man.  The only element of Man that can perceive the Esoteric aspects of Man is one's faculty of "Intuition," which is an aspect of one's Soul.

esoteric
ĕs″ə-tĕr′ĭk

adjective

  1. Intended for or understood by only a small group, especially one with specialized knowledge or interests: synonym: mysterious.
  2. Relating to or being a small group with specialized knowledge or interests.
  3. Not known by or suitable for the public; private.
The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, 5th Edition.

The Spiritual Dimension of Man is invisible to Man because the Spiritual Dimension is not part of the Creation...?  Explained shortly as "NSgy".

In opposition to the term Esoteric, we have the phrase "common intellect".  And "common intellect" refers to what the brain thinks it "knows"... simply because the brain has been introduced to a name, date, or a way to identify something. This to the brain is taken for "knowing" something.  I refer to this as "Delusional Thinking" or "D-Think" for short.

Delusional Thinking  means the brain "thinks" it knows something simply because it has been exposed to the name of something.  Again, the brain does not differentiate between knowing about something, and actually KNOWING [possessing actual experience of something].

I believe Spiritual Energy is actually "Neutral Spiritual Energy," or what I refer to as "NSgy".  And NSgy can ONLY be Known by that which is itself NSgy. Which we refer to as  God, which I believe is the primordial Energy of Existence.  But this takes us in another direction entirely.

How many people think they know what the Soul is... and yet none of them have ever seen a Soul?  How do we explain this?

The answer is that the brain is not bothered by Reality or Truth.  The brain simply accepts what it thinks is true. Look at this quote of Skinner by Richard Evans:

In this quote of Skinner, Skinner mocks those in Psychology at the time by suggesting they are Delusional in their belief that Man has a MIND.   Did he threaten those in Psychology at the time to either produce evidence of the MIND, or yield to his demand? The damage of denying the MIND are the suicides we are witnessing daily in America.

There is perhaps nothing so sure of something as a person whose I-MIND intensely fears the Truth his belief masks.

When you decide not to read, study, or expose yourself to something... what causes you to do that?

Or, another way to ask the question is this... who among your friends will end up becoming a mystic in his or her old age?

The reason I ask this question is that when I was in High School, no one who knew me would have guessed that I was destined to become a mystic.  In fact, many would have guessed I would be a number of things, but being a mystic is not one of those things.  I received a "D" grade in English in three of four semesters because I knew nothing about grammar.  I could not even read until I was in the fifth grade.  My idea of a sentence was one long sentence, punctuated by dashes.  I was very Intuitive as a child.

What is a mystic?  Someone who spends a great deal of time studying Spirituality, God, and the Purpose of Life?  And note that I did not include the term religion.  The study of Spirituality has very little to do with religion.  The person who is very interested in religion is someone who took a left turn instead of a right turn somewhere in life.

Left-turn means a turn in the direction of the brain and thinking about religion.  A right-turn would be toward the unknown dimensions of oneself that cannot be studied by use of the brain.  What would cause a person to seek to study the invisible in life?  An "inner" calling by one's Soul is a good answer... but not an answer that is easily understood.  That is, people are not normally curious about what cannot be studied by use of the brain.  On the other hand, mystics are only interested in those things that the brain cannot perceive.

We in the West are not taught to pursue the unknown in life by teachers who are caught up in Intellectualism [love of the brain and thinking, while adopting the idea that emotion is a waste of time]. The fact is,  teachers teach what they know.    They have been taught to "think" there is nothing the brain cannot discover.  And what about the three-quarters of Man that are invisible to the brain?  What three-quarters?   Just show me what you mean?  For the intellectual, if it isn't physical and capable of being converted into cash, it isn't important.

You see, the I-MIND of Man is invisible to the brain. And all parts of one's Spirituality are invisible to the brain.  So, to those who are limited to use of the brain and thinking 'about' life... the only thing worth thinking about is the physical dimension of existence.  In other words, it is silly spending one's time in search of that which is invisible to Man, and cannot be bought and sold.

The Spiritual and mental dimensions are hidden "Within" Man, and they are always invisible to one's brain and thinking.  That is precisely the reason the Soul and the I-MIND have not been found by Man.  And one's I-MIND will seek to interest one in some religion, if possible, because religion has very little impact upon what happens to oneself at the time of death?  In other words, the study of religion is an intellectual activity that ends when one dies.  And if one's study of religion was helpful in preventing one from engaging in a great deal of negativity, then it was helpful.

But no matter how much thinking a person engages in, such thinking will not a mystic make.  The unknown [and invisible] "Within" Man can Only be Known by a person's faculty of "Intuition"...which has nothing to do with one's brain and thinking.    But then, why am I writing this for people to read, using their brains?  Because not everyone who uses his or her brain is limited to use of the brain only!  Many people would have substantial access to their faculty of Intuition... if they knew they had the ability of accessing their Intuition?

*   The Energy of that which we call "Intuition" is part of one's Soul, and thus Spiritual Energy.  And that which perceives a bit of Intuition is a part of what I refer to as Conscious Awareness, or "C-Awar," which is another part of one's Soul [which is Pure Spiritual Energy, and technically not a  part of the Creation in which we exist]. Again my little sketch:

Note that #1 is the physical body with the brain. #2,3 and 4 are all invisible to #1.  Although #2 and 3 are quite active and directs the operations of #1.  Intuition is a part of #4, and can experience bits of Truth.

But where are people exposed to data that would awaken them to their faculties of Intuition?  Anyone who awakens to a bit of Truth all of a sudden, does so via his or her faculty of Intuition.  It is referred to as a hunch, a guess, insight, or God speaking to a person.  Very rarely is it referred to as "Intuition".  In the West the reason for this is that most teachers are chosen because of their thinking... or the ability to quote things they have read.  Not because they are Intuitive, or interested in the pursuit of Spirituality.

How much one's I-MIND dictates what one likes, reads, or is interested in depends upon the force of one's Soul in this lifetime?  And thus, how much Intuition one has available to oneself  depends upon what level of Consciousness one's Soul has acquired?  If you are Intuitive then the chances are good that your level of Consciousness is also elevated.  So, make use of your faculty of Intuition as much as you can.  It tends to be the Truth, by the way.

Let's define "INTUITION"... Unless you Know what it is??

Intuition is a faculty of one's Soul, associated in some way with what we refer to as "Attention," which is the ability that one's Soul affords one to apply understanding to what one's brain and physical senses can perceive of what one experiences. Then there is that part of Attention that also perceives phenomena whose vibrations are beyond the purview of the brain and our physical senses.  This range of existence is normally invisible to most people. Unless a person has an active use of "Intuition" available to him or herself.  Intuition is therefore dependent upon one's level of Consciousness, or one's level of Enlightenment of one's Soul.  In other words, at what level can one perceive elements of Truth that exists just beyond the perception of most people?

purview
pûr′vyoo͞″

noun

  1. The extent or range of activity, function, power, or competence; scope. synonym: range.
  2. Range of vision.
  3. Range of understanding or experience.
The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, 5th Edition.

So, what is "Intuition"?  The term "Intuition" is the ability to perceive normally invisible phenomena by one's faculty of Intuition, which is an aspect of one's Soul, which is also a part of one's ability to perceive a level of phenomena that is normally invisible to most people.  We tend to refer to such people as "Enlightened".

A question might be:  ... is it possible for a person whose Attention remains in the Left-Hemisphere of the brain much of the time [a thinker type person], to experience "Intuition"?  And if not, why not"?

Or put another way... can a person use the Left-Hemisphere of the brain to perceive phenomena that is normally invisible to the brain?  The answer is no, it is not possible.

The brain has two hemispheres.  The left-hemisphere is the thinking part, and the right-hemisphere is the emotional, aesthetic, and avenue to the Spiritual hemisphere part... the more important hemisphere.

I believe that what we refer to as "Intuition" is a faculty of one's Soul, and that it is only active in people whose Soul has acquired a substantial amount of Consciousness.  And what is Consciousness?

Consciousness can be defined as the level of Spiritual Energy a person's Soul has acquired as a consequence of Completing Karma, and thus converting that experience of Karma into experiential Knowledge, which is confined to the Spiritual Realm or Dimension of that person.  And such Knowledge provides that person bits of Knowledge, or bits of Truth, which are stored 'within" what I refer to as Conscious Awareness, or C-Awar for short.  I believe that which I refer to as C-Awar is what philosophy searches for under the name "Self".

In order to 'create' Karma, one's Soul & MIND must use the Soul's Spiritual Energy to 'create' the Karma. And every bit of Karma one's Soul has explored requires a "bit of Spiritual Energy to create". This in turn creates a draw-down of the Soul's Spiritual Energy (which I refer to as "Neutral Spiritual Energy," or "NSgy").  This draw-down subtly reduces the Soul's  own Spirituality... which is the reason so many Souls have forgotten who and what they are?

I hope this has been helpful in explaining what Intuition is, and a bit of how it works.  Too bad we don't explore the breadth and Reality of Spirituality in the West.

WHY SHOULD WE BE MORE FORGIVING ?

Believe it or not... the reason is strictly self-serving!

The fact is, in the West, we are largely uneducated in the principle Law of Life, which is the Law of Karma.  The Law of Karma was designed by God [so it is an absolute Law], and it applies to everything in the Creation... which means we Souls.

The basic definition of the Law of Karma is this:  "As you sow, so shall you reap!"  In other words, for every action you take, that same action will be taken against you!   ... if not in this life, then in some future life... and yes, your Soul is immortal, and Reincarnation is a fact, not a theory.

Every living thing in the Creation has a Soul.  It is the Soul within every living thing that sustains the life of whatever physical form a Soul is in presently.  And not only is Reincarnation a fact, but Transmigration is also a fact, and Transmigration is the name for when a Soul acts like an animal... rather than a human being... and that Soul must spend time  as an animal to insure that it no longer needs to act like an animal!

What makes the Law of Karma so unusual is that it is based on an absolute sense of fairness and justice!  And no Soul eludes this Law.

So, when Christ said to give your coat to someone who asks you for your coat, but in addition... give that person another coat [just in case you might owe that person two coats]!  Christ was speaking of the Law of Karma, in other words.

That is one aspect of this blog.  The other aspect is that the Law of Karma is administered by one's I-MIND, and all the Karma you owe is known by your I-MIND.  And each of us comes into this lifetime with a "Fate Karma" that is based on trying to clear a portion of the Karma that we owe. The problem with this arrangement is... we tend to create more Karma in a lifetime than we can work through. The result, of course, is that at the end of each lifetime, we wind up with increasing our burden of Karma rather than reducing it!

What does that have to do with being more "forgiving"?  Well, what causes Karma is emotional energy being turned into physical action of some kind... including "anger," or "resentment," or "holding a grudge".

And forgiveness is literally forgiving a person's actions against oneself, or a person's words spoken against oneself.  And to forgive... again we are told by Christ to "forgive"... because Christ knew that the result of not forgiving means creating a Karmic debt that one then has to pay in some way.  And "pay" means receive the same energy as we refuse to release from "Within" oneself!  Christ was simply trying to tell us that we are much better off by letting go of our anger or resentment than holding on to it, which automatically draws the same energy back to ourselves!

Over the last couple decades I have practiced this basic principle, and it really does work.  So, I share this with whomever is wise enough to "see" the wisdom of what Christ taught?  Remember, nothing happens to us that we do not have coming to us!  This is true, whether one believes it is true or not!

REGARDING SPIRITUALITY... An Important Factor.

I was doing a bit of reading this morning, and a passage regarding what Mystics tell us about Meditation caused me to pause just a bit... as I gave more thought to my own meditation?  And I worked on this sketch:

...A slight change in the illustration.

This sketch points out that to gain any appreciable growth towards an increase in one's Spirituality... one must put 100% of one's Attention into one's meditation.  And most people will quickly say:  "But that is entirely unreasonable to expect that anyone will devote all of his or her time to meditation only!

And most people will be completely correct in their negative response to this suggestion.     HOWEVER...

When a person reaches a point in his or her evolution of his or her Soul, and is drawn to seek out the help of a Saint or Mystic... we are not talking about a "normal" person.

So, for those people who are "ready" to return Home to God, and quit the Illusion of Life on this physical plane... the above sketch is very good advice.  But to others who are still attempting to control life, or engage in compiling great wealth, or desire to become a well-known rock star;  the idea of the above sketch is nonsense.  And most people are "normal" people and for them the sketch is ridiculous.

On the other hand, what the sketch does point out rather well is the fact that if a person truly desires to return Home to God [not just to Heaven, which is located on the Astral Region of Creation]... then the path that leads back Home to God is a most difficult and demanding Path.

What I got out of it was... I need to spend a great deal more time in meditation.

CAN THE MIND BECOME ILL?

In the early 1900s, a wanna-b psychologist named B.F. Skinner, suggested that Man does not have a MIND, and here is what he is quoted as saying:

Skinner was wrong, of course, but since he was an intellectual and given to the malady of Intellectualism [locked into the brain and thinking while in denial of emotions], his quote tells us [well at least me] how much he feared of his own MIND.

Skinner and other thinkers did things to animals and then watched the animals react to what was done to them... and they assumed that the reactions of the animals was a choice they made... presumably by the brain within the animal.  These people called their game of reporting the actions of animals in response to being tortured by the oxymoron "behavioral psychology".

Skinner was somehow able to force the field of Psychology at the time to grant these animal provokers use of the label "behavioral psychology," and made this an official part of Psychology.

And so, since the early 1900s, the field of psychology"[began  effectively to eliminate much of the Esoteric nature of Psychology], and began to incorporated pure Intellectualism, and the oxymoron behavioral psychology as "modern psychology".  As a consequence,  the three-quarters of Man that are entirely invisible to the brain are simply ignored.  And young people and Veterans are committing suicide in increased numbers due to a lack of competent psychotherapists.

As to the question of the MIND becoming ill... The MIND, or "Invisible MIND, thus "I-MIND" (to remind us that the "I" of I-MIND means that the MIND is invisible to one's brain and physical senses).  Therefore,  the I-MIND  it is not physical, and is not subject to physical illness.  But it is the I-MIND that plays havoc with the Delusional Thinking it feeds to the Left-Hemisphere of the brain of Man.  If there is any "illness" today... that illness is an ignorance of how to properly deal with the I-MIND of Man caught up in negative thoughts that are harmful to self and to others.

In other words... where do the negative thoughts come from?  Duh, they come from a person's I-MIND, and they are based on deeply repressed bits of trauma hidden "Within" a person's I-MIND. A person is not an animal, by the way!

It is the denial of the MIND that constitutes the "illness" of  mental health today... as "psychology" no longer deals with the largely Esoteric Psychology given to the world by the ancient  Greeks.

WHERE DOES ONE'S PERSONALITY COME FROM? AND BE PREPARED FOR "STRANGE"...

The "strange" part of this discussion revolves around two elements that modern psychology ignores entirely.  1.  The fact that the Soul is knotted together with one's I-MIND, and as long as one's I-MIND remains attached to one's Soul, both are immortal, and thus reincarnate into new physical bodies after death.   And 2,   the MIND [or I-MIND]  is an invisible operation that takes place "Within" Man, by influencing the brain and physical body via subtle electrical impulses in the brain, and by impacting one's nervous system... in ways too complex for me to comprehend. However, I can and will attempt to explain how these elements impact the I-MIND [and thus personality] of a newborn child.

To begin with, we must consider the operation of the Law of Karma.  This law was designed by God, and it applies to every living thing in the Creation. And the basic premise of the Law of Karma is this:  "As you sow, so shall you reap".  And your record of Karma is maintained in the "Book of Life," mentioned in the Bible, and your I-MIND also keeps a full record of all the Karma you have or will be involved in... lifetime after lifetime.

And it is one's "Fate Karma" that -- each Soul brings into its new lifetime [largely reflecting aspects of your last lifetime plus bits and pieces of Karma that can be worked into your new lifetime] that is the primary blueprint of the Karma you must face and deal with in this lifetime.  And it is this collection of Karma that determines the blueprint for  your personality in this lifetime.

But this is just the blueprint...  The personality structure itself is formed by your I-MIND [shortly after birth] reaching out to the I-MIND of each parent - to gather certain data.    And your I-MIND is looking for personality elements [fears, trauma, and what I refer to as "misperceptions"...  A "misperception" is a negative belief one's I-MIND holds regarding who and what one's Soul is...  And this is most certainly a "misperception" [because one's Soul is never not Perfect, and an aspect of God].  But this is in REALITY... and the I-MIND deals in an Illusion that we "think" is real... which is the result of our having been on this Earth for a great many lifetimes:  Each one of which subtly shifts our Attention  from  being a Spiritual aspect of God, to being dependent upon the I-MIND.

This is the super subtle trap every Soul is caught within... that virtually no Soul realizes... until a Soul eventually finds itself being attracted to a Mystic, who [like Christ said to those who were attracted to him:  I have come for my marked sheep, or words to that effect].

But back to the formation of Personality.   The I-MIND of a child reaches out to the I-MIND  of each parent [if both are present],  and the I-MIND of the child is looking for elements that will "fit" the Fate Karma the I-MIND of the child has come in to address in this life.

In other words, the I-MIND of the newborn is searching for repressed elements "within" the I-MIND of the parent, or parents, and the I-MIND of the child will take-on those negative elements with which the I-MIND of the child can be caused to involve itself in... so as to confront the bits of Karma contained in the Fate Karma of that child for this lifetime.

How the I-MIND of the child does this is what Psychology should be about... however, modern psychology simply ignores the I-MIND of Man, following the mistaken notions of B.F. Skinner in the early  1900s. And both psychology and mental health today are in the dark regarding the role Psychology should play in our life.

Three things are needed to develop a competent Psychotherapist: 1. Someone who is naturally Intuitive. 2. Someone who's level of Consciousness causes that person to be Enlightened.  And 3. A person who is extremely curious about the I-MIND and how it works?

Alas, today the field of "psychology" seeks people who are involved in Intellectualism, which means use of the brain while in denial of one's emotions. The energy of the I-MIND is emotional energy.

As I said... to properly study the I-MIND and its operations is a very strange field, indeed.  We should all be much kinder to each other than we are.  We are all suffering from our ignorance regarding the Reality  of Life, and how we Souls can find our way back Home?

LET'S CONSIDER THE TERM "SIMULTANEITY"... AND THE UNKNOWN...

About two decades ago I Intuited the terms "Neutral," "Spiritual," and "Energy".  I thought at the time these were three separate terms. and I could not figure out what they meant?   But eventually I realized (Intuitively), that these three terms collectively defined a special kind of Energy.  That is, "Neutral Spiritual Energy," which I have come to believe is the Primordial Energy of Existence, or what we refer to as God.  And being aspects of God, we Souls are also a part of the same Energy as that of God.  That is, "Neutral Spiritual Energy," which I reduced to a symbol:  "NSgy".

Strangely, whomever wrote [or more properly interpreted]  the first book of Moses, or Genesis, refers in Chapter 1, verse 2, to the following:

And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.  And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

And in verse 3:  And God said, Let there be light: and there was Light.

What if... the interpretation by the interpreter of the actions of God... was as close as Man can come to putting words to the Energy of God... Whose Energy is not capable of being translated into any language?  But the Energy of God is simultaneously operating behind, or as an influence of, that which can be observed or articulated by the brain of Man.  Not the origin of [which is Invisible), but the manifested forms that Man can see.

So, I am saying that indeed God did Create the Creation, and God was indeed involved in everything that the Bible details... except the essence of the Energy of God is Invisible to Man, and thus... Man must find or create words with which to try and explain the "SIMULTANEITY"  of God causing NSgy to manifest in various elements in the Physical Universe.

So, when the Mystic says that the Creation is an "illusion," we now know what the Mystic is referring to!   The Creation was "created". So, it exists as long as God wants it to exist.

"Let there be light: and there was Light." As an example.

One's own Soul is another example.  Each of us has a Soul, and yet who do you know that has seen his own Soul?  I believe the reason we  cannot find the Soul is that it exists "simultaneously" with the physical body, but the Energy of the Soul exists in an entirely separate dimension of Energy... and thus,  one's Soul, whose Energy is NSgy, exists in a relationship that is one of simultaneity with one's physical body.  My attempt at a sketch of this I have shown several times:

The only part of this simultaneous collection of different energy realms we can "see" is #1, the physical realm in which the brain and our physical senses reside.

In which case, the words of the Bible are as close as Man can come to articulating Spiritual phenomena, but the words of the Bible are unable to "capture" the essence of what God did in Creating the Creation?  Or how Mystics tell us that God is "Within" us.  Indeed God is "Within" us, but God is also in a dimension that is one of simultaneity with our physical existence.  God can see us, but we cannot see God... as long as our "Attention" aspect of our Soul is "attached" to the Illusion of this Creation, which means the Physical Dimension.

So, clearly... in order for one's Soul to enter into a dimension that will take it Home... One's Soul must work to release itself from the Illusion  of the physical body that is presented to it daily.  To do this, there is a special form of meditation.  But this is another story... and very few people are anxious to leave the Illusion.

What is TRUTH?

Truth is, of course a word.
But does the word truth provide us with what the word stands for?

And my answer is no, the word truth is simply an abstract term that stands for an absolute that cannot exist in the Creation, since the Creation is an Illusion that appears real to our physical senses.

The term Truth is like the term God, or Reality.  They all stand for something that cannot be found "in" the Creation.  Although all three do exist.  But they exist in an energy dimension whose  vibration is invisible to all things physical.

I believe this Energy is what I refer to as Neutral Spiritual Energy, or NSgy for short.  And what do  you know that is neutral?

WHAT I LEARNED ABOUT BEING A HUMAN BEING OVER 40 YEARS AS A GESTALT PSYCHOTHERAPIST...

Let us begin with the basic structure of how we operate.

We have a physical brain...

Which is located in one's skull:  And the brain has two hemispheres. One is left-hemisphere [L-H], and the other is the right-hemisphere, or [R-H].

Your brain and your skull are part of one's physical body:  Which is part of the physical Creation... [as opposed to other parts of existence that are not physical], but are Invisible to us...which is important to realize. And to emphasize this point I did this sketch:

Which illustrates the Whole Human Being, or WHB. However, #1 is the only part of oneself that one's brain can experience!  This means that three of the four dimensions of Man are INVISIBLE to one's brain and one's thinking.

And, being invisible does not mean these invisible parts of oneself are not important; nor does it mean they are not continually active "Within" oneself!  For instance, #3 of the sketch feeds Delusional Thinking [or "D-Think"] to the Left-Hemisphere of your brain, and your brain is unable to distinguish between your regular thinking and D-Think!

And this means that if your I-MIND [Invisible MIND] wants you to think something is true, then your I-MIND feeds D-Think to the Left-Hemisphere of your brain, and you believe what you think.

How does one counter this automatic situation?  Only by "learning," over time, how embarrassing it is to think something is true, only to have  what one thinks be proven wrong.  Each such "lesson" is "taken to heart" so to speak... if the emotional pain [of which we are aware only if our "Attention" is located in the Right-Hemisphere of our brain] takes place.  Otherwise the emotional pain is repressed from our conscious 'awareness.  Although it does occur, even if we are not aware of it.

As long as one's Attention [a faculty of one's Soul] is fixed in the [L-H] of the brain, one cannot be aware of one's emotional energy, which is the energy of one's I-MIND.  This is the reason those people who seem to be missing their emotion are missing their emotion. That is, they spend a great deal of time locked into the L-H of the brain.

In my own case, I spent from age 3 to 43 unaware of my emotions because at age 3, I ordered my I-MIND to keep me unaware of my emotions... due to an intense traumatic event that took place when I was 3 years of age.  This realization was re-experienced by me during a Gestalt Psychotherapy session when I was 43, facilitated by an excellent Gestalt Psychotherapist.  This means that from age 3 to 43, I was cut off from my own emotions.  Sadly, this is not that unusual.

And my point is... the I-MIND "Within" ["Within" means that one is not aware of whatever the term "Within" is referring to], and although it is taking place...  whatever "it" is, is invisible to us.  And one's I-MIND normally operates "Within" us and we are quite unaware of it taking place... until we "think" certain thoughts. And who do you know who questions where his/her thoughts come from? At least successfully does so?

The operation of one's I-MIND is supervised by the Law of Karma, which is the primary Law of Creation, and the Law of Karma was designed by God, and it applies to every living thing in Creation. And the operation of this Law is an absolute, and thus... all we see of it are the results of it's operations which manifest in our experiences on this physical plane.  The definition of the Law of Karma should tell us what we need to know about this Law:  "As you sow, so shall you reap".

And no Soul [regardless what physical form it is in, in this lifetime, is  exempt from this Law.  So this means that everything that occurs to one in this lifetime... is what one did in some previous lifetime.  And this is true, regardless whether one wants to believe it, or not?

So, every thought or action you take becomes a part of what your I-MIND holds "Within" itself.  And it is the Law of Karma that determines what happens to us in each lifetime we live... and yes, this flies in the face of what most people think in the West.  So, can we really trust our thinking?  Does one have an alternative?  Yes, one does, but to exercise that alternative, one must deal with a great deal of repressed material hidden "Within" one's I-MIND... and virtually everyone is most reluctant to do this!  Because it is scary to look "Within" the unknown hidden "Within" oneself... plus, what is locked "Within" one's I-MIND is not meant to be known... until it is.

A well-trained, and naturally Intuitive individual can be trained to facilitate another person in the discovery of deeply repressed material from "Within" him or herself if... it is time for that material to become known to that person?  Otherwise, repressed phenomena remains repressed, and it is what one's I-MIND uses to insure that one adheres to one's "Fate Karma" for this lifetime!  It is simply the way Life works.

Now, we can finally address how people operate on a day to day basis.

The reason a wise person forgives others is that the wise person realizes that others are just as locked into being who they must be in this lifetime as oneself is... but then, not everyone is as forgiving as he or she might be... because in the West, we are not encouraged to seek the Truth. Because in the West, we are taught to distrust our Intuition, and to instead trust our thinking... which means trust what one's I-MIND feeds one as Delusional Thinking.  And  D-Think is [at best] relatively true.  Truth does exist, but only "Within" one's own faculty of Intuition.

And one's faculty of Intuition is confined to Truth, which means limited to Knowledge, which is only obtained as a result of Completing bits of Karma. And this needs some explanation... that may be difficult for some people to accept or embrace?  The Reality of Life is difficult for some to accept because it initially seems contrary to the teachings of Christianity.  But if one can accept the fact that "teachings" are produced by people... then we can forgive people for being people... since three-quarters of each person is invisible to that person.

The Soul of Man, and God, are (I believe) composed of a special kind of Energy I refer to as "Neutral Spiritual Energy," or "NSgy" as a symbol. And NSgy is only visible to one's Soul, or to one's faculty of Intuition [when one's faculty of Intuition is located "Within" one's Spiritual Dimension].  This is the reason the Soul is invisible to Man.  It is also the reason God cannot directly manifest to Man.  The physical Man simply cannot experience the super-subtle Energy of NSgy.  Only one's faculty of Intuition can perceive NSgy, and ONLY when one's faculty of Intuition is located in the Purely Spiritual Dimension itself.

Again... four separate dimensions, each with its own range of vibrations, and three of these are INVISIBLE to Man.  So, the faculty of Intuition seems to be quite important.  Strange then that Intuition is so actively avoided in our American education?   At opposite poles are the brain and one's faculty of Intuition.  One can think about life, or one can experience it via one's faculty of Intuition... if... one is Enlightened enough to do so?

The term Consciousness refers to the level of awakened Spirituality that a person's Soul has acquired [by Completing Karma over many, many lifetimes]!  But with Christianity insisting that Man only has one life to live... it is difficult for most people to accept that the Soul is immortal, and that we Souls have as many lifetimes as we require to reach a point where we begin to be open to the Reality of Life.

So, where is each Soul on the ladder of life?  And how does one even begin to imagine such a thing when we are told that we only have one life to live?  In the West, we have a huge intellectual barrier to break through in order to imagine the existence of a Truth so different than what we have been encouraged to believe.

I highly recommend the following book:

The Path of the Masters, by Julian Johnson.   And this book is available in many libraries.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU THINK ABOUT WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU WHEN YOU DIE?

Or if you are like most people... death is not  something you think about?  Besides... it has its own rules by which it operates.

Well, let me share with you some good news... and perhaps not so good news? Your Soul is immortal.  That means it does not die, ever.  Now that's likely good news.  However, what one's Soul can incarnate into in its next birth... is part of the not so good news!

Were you aware that every living thing in the entire Creation has a Soul, exactly like your Soul?  Or that the only difference between Souls is one of evolution,  or  the amount of Consciousness a Soul has acquired? Or that every Soul is composed of "NSgy"?

*The energy of Existence, or God, is NSgy, or Neutral Spiritual Energy. And the energy of NSgy can only be known by one's Soul, when one's Soul is located in the region of NSgy, or in the Pure Spiritual Realm. And the Pure Spiritual Realm is unique in that ONLY Pure NSgy can exist in the Spiritual Realm.

The fact is... every living thing in the entire Creation has a Soul.  And every Soul is composed of the exact same substance [which is "NSgy"*], which has the exact same attributes, and has the exact same Purpose in Life as you do.  And that Purpose is to acquire knowledge of the Creation because the energy of Creation is a duality composed of two equal dimensions [they are called Yin and Yang],  and the Whole of Creation operates under the LAW of Karma, which was designed by God.  And the Creation is also composed of a number of dimensions, only one of which we can perceive by use of our physical senses.

#1 is the only part of Man that we can perceive by use of our physical senses. and #2,3 and 4 are all invisible to us.

And... none of the above are you required to understand, and a lack of understanding means that one remains in the cycle of birth and death until one awakens to what I have shared with the reader... who is fee to believe all this... or not?

And if you comprehend what I have shared, then you know as much about life as the great  Saints and Mystics can share with we human beings.  They try and explain all of this... and some of them do one additional [and crucial thing], which is to "Initiate" a Soul [which means provide a Spiritual ticket back Home to God]!  It only took me 50 years to discover this.  Now, isn't this an interesting thing to know?

Peace, 1 Brother James

And the above is the reason no Man, nor Woman has ever found God by use of  the brain or one's physical senses. Everything physical is part of the Illusion.

REGARDING THE TERM "MYSTICISM"...

mysticism

mĭs′tĭ-sĭz″əm

noun

  1. Belief in direct experience of transcendent reality or God, especially by means of contemplation and asceticism instead of rational thought.
  2. Such experience had by an individual. (as opposed to a door knob?)
  3. Belief in the existence of realities beyond perceptual or intellectual apprehension that are directly accessible by subjective experience.
The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, 5th Edition.

What this definition is speaking of is the faculty of "Intuition," but without mentioning it.

When I read a dictionary definition, the left-hemisphere of my brain tends to feel like a clogged sinus... all stuffed up.  It is as though the writer is trying to avoid lending credence to those elements of Man that the brain can neither control nor perceive. The esoteric parts of Man.

Mysticism is the practice of using one's faculty of Intuition to receive bits of Knowledge provided by and stored "Within" one's Conscious Awareness.  The faculty of Man capable of this is one's "Intuition"... which is an aspect of one's Soul.

I use the phrase "Conscious Awareness" as another name for what philosophy refers to as the "Self".  For me, Conscious Awareness, or "C-Awar," is a part of one's Consciousness where bits of Truth are stored by one's Soul  as one's Soul slowly accumulates such bits of Truth by Completing Karma.  And when one is "ready" to awaken to a bit of Knowledge [Truth], one's faculty of Intuition picks up that bit of Truth stored in one's C-Awar (assuming one's faculty of Intuition is active), then one suddenly KNOWS something one did not Know previously... and one now views life a bit differently than prior to awakening to this bit of Intuition.  Another name for this process is "Enlightenment".

In the East, Enlightenment is neither denied, nor seen as peculiar, but is encouraged by almost everyone... since people are educated to the fact that Spiritual Enlightenment is a desired goal for every human being to pursue.  Therefore, the principles of Mysticism are not only well known, but children are encouraged to become members of religious sects.  But then, people in the East tend to believe in reincarnation and in God... by whatever name they call God, or means used to seek God.

The difference between East and West is, in actuality, a difference between how people view life?  The people in the East tend to view life as an Illusion, and Spirituality as Reality;  While in the West, people tend to view the Illusion as reality, and Spirituality as an Illusion.

How an individual views life depends upon the level of Consciousness a person's Soul has acquired?  And in the East, the study of Spirituality is called Mysticism.  And one of the best books regarding Mysticism or Spirituality is The Path of the Masters, by Julian Johnson: Available in most libraries.

Christianity, for the most part, rests upon the words contained in the Bible, and specifically upon various interpretations of the words used in the Bible.  The problem with doing this is that we do not know the level of Enlightenment possessed by those doing the interpretation?

Unfortunately,  Truth cannot be conveyed in words.  If it could be, then anyone reading the word TRUTH... would become enlightened upon reading the term TRUTH.  The word truth is an abstract word.  That is, the word truth is composed of letters forming the word truth... that we agree "stands for"  whatever TRUTH is.   But to actually experience a bit of Truth, one can only do so via one's faculty of Intuition... which must visit one's Conscious Awareness [an aspect of one's Soul] and by use of one's faculty of Intuition, awaken to the Energy of Truth.  But having done this, that person is unable to convey what he or she has just awakened to from "Within" him or herself.

The best one can do is to "hint" at some bit of Truth by using words that, if another is in possession of that particular bit of Truth, then the "hint" words can be used to awaken that bit of Truth from "Within" that person.  But, only if that person already possesses that bit of Truth.

No teacher, in other words, can convey bits of Truth to students.  If a teacher actually possesses  a bit of Truth, then those students who already possess that bit of Truth "Within" themselves will resonate to what that teacher is saying by using the  "hint" words the teacher is using to try and convey that bit of Truth.

Mysticism is the same as Truth.  No one can experience what the Mystic is talking about unless... that person has already awakened to a particular bit of Truth from "Within" him or herself.  Spiritual Truth cannot be "taught" in other words.  It can only be "caught" by those "Within" whom certain bits of Truth already exist. Awakening that which already exists "Within" people is what the Mystic is about.  Such Truth that is active "Within" the Mystic can subtly stimulate a bit of Truth that a person is "ready" to awaken to from "Within" him or herself.  But that bit of Truth must already be "Within" a person, and that bit of Truth must also be "ready" to be awakened to!

So, Mysticism is not a matter of teaching... it is rather a matter of awakening that which is already "Within" a person.  Therefore, many people heard Christ speak.  But few of those people awakened to the Mystical bits of Truth hidden "Within" (or behind) the words that Christ spoke.  "Many are called, but few are chosen" is another way of saying what I am talking about.

So, Mysticism is like a sign one can see, but what the sign stands for is not discernible by one's intellect.

A NEW BIT OF TRUTH REGARDING THE I-MIND...

While reading "Spiritual Gems" this morning, a book written by Maharaj Sawan Singh, published in 1965, I was apparently ready to awaken to a new bit of Truth from "Within" myself.

The "whole" of how a person's MIND works, or operates, is a most difficult thing to explain.  And it is difficult because there are so many levels or dimensions in which it operates [most of which are quite invisible to one's ordinary awareness].  Therefore, it simply takes a very long time for anyone to comprehend [or put cognitive words to] these subtle operations taking place at normally invisible levels.  Which is the reason I refer to the MIND as the I-MIND, with the "I" referring to the fact that the MIND and its operations are invisible to us.

I quote the passage that triggered a bit of awareness "Within" me this morning:

Man and the world are so constituted that there is always one thing or the other cropping up and demanding our attention.  Such things should be attended to,, but one should find time daily for the spiritual work. It should not be ignored.  If full time cannot be given, give as much as you can. Even five minutes would do. The spiritual work alone goes with us o our credit after death.  All other will be left behind.  The day that is gone will not come back again.  So with love and faith and perseverance, go ahead.

Where does "one thing or the other" come from?  These seemingly random thoughts are fed to one's brain by one's I-MIND.  I refer to such thoughts as "Delusional Thinking," or "D-Think".   And quite often one's I-MIND feeds a thought to one's brain that is entirely specious, or a thought that is entirely false.  And surprisingly... the only justification for the thought is based on some fear [hidden "Within" one's MIND], or a desire of one's I-MIND to cause one to experience confusion and conflict. The I-MIND strangely seems to enjoy causing a person pain.

Does this seem implausible to you?  I know it seems too bizarre to be true, but the Reality of Life is quite often very strange.  And the author of this book also said this:  "It is characteristic of the mind that it does not take the blame on itself but throws it on someone else and, if need be, on the Master, as well."  By "Master" the author is speaking of a person's Spiritual Master, or teacher.

The point of this blog is to try and explain a part of the I-MIND that most people do not know.  Including some subtle aspects of the I-MIND and how it works... that were stimulated "Within" me this morning by what I read.  The fact is, the I-MIND [although it is entirely invisible to us] is a major contributor to what one thinks, believes, and how one relates to life [both what we know of life, and what we do not know of life].

My primary career in this life has been that of a Gestalt Psychotherapist. As a consequence of this, and my own need to study the Esoteric elements in life,  I have closely studied the operations of the I-MIND, and how it plays a major role in the operations of the Law of Karma. But that is not what this blog is about.  The author of the book I was reading said this:  "Under all circumstances, the fight against the mind should be continued. Mind is our enemy. It tries to throw us off by all sorts of things, on one pretense or another."

But... most people correctly ask... how does one fight something that is invisible to oneself?

And the only reasonable answer is...one can only attempt to do so.

Let us take a short trip into the I-MIND... despite the fact it is invisible.

One's I-MIND is not tangible, physical, nor even a part of one's physical body.  And yet it exists and it is attached to one's Soul, which is also quite invisible to oneself. One's I-MIND stores everything one experiences.  The good things and the bad things... and especially the bad things.  How come?  Bad involves punishment and requires the I-MIND to develop creative ways to punish us within the confines of the Law of Karma.  Returning good is boring... in comparison.

At the very core of Reality, we find this:  Every bit of Karma one's Soul can force the I-MIND to take responsibility for, and to forgive all involved in that bit of Karma... is converted back into Spiritual Energy that the Soul loaned the I-MIND to create the action in the first place.

This means that a good deed is simply returned to oneself as a bit of good.  But the return of some negative action involves the I-MIND and the I-MIND seeks to involve one's Soul in some negative action while preventing one's Soul from Acceptance or Forgiveness... by preventing one from realizing that the present negative action is simply some past action being "returned" to oneself.  That is, a past negative action taken by one's I-MIND at some time in the past.  This part of the Karma is withheld by one's I-MIND.  Not very helpful to one's Soul, is it?

In this way, one's I-MIND keeps adding negative actions, and responses to one's store of Karma.  The net result is... in each life we live, we create more negative Karma than we can convert in that lifetime.  And what is responsible for this?  Why, it's one's I-MIND.  Why would one's I-MIND do this?

What keeps every Soul trapped in the Illusion of Life is... the Karmic debt one's Soul owes.  And the I-MIND is responsible for preventing one from "seeing" that each bit of Karma one faces, is simply the Yin and Yang of the Law of Karma... which one's I-MIND prevents one from realizing that every bit of Yang Karma [the action part] is... being returned to oneself as Yin Karma  [the reaction part].

The net result is... our pile of Karma continues to increase... as we are encouraged by our I-MIND to resist our Karmic debts, and to blame others for what is taking place.

Each of us can accept the above, or deny it, along with the Law of Karma.  My role is simply to try and point out the fact that this is taking place.

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF MEDITATION ? I mean really...

The answer to the question of "the purpose of" meditation may seem a bit strange for people in the West, but let's see if we can't make sense of the reason Meditation is so greatly valued in the East.

We begin with this [seemingly] simple question?  What is the Purpose of Meditation?  And the answer is... to withdraw one's "Attention" out of the physical body, and to re-focus it at the entrance to one's Astral body [you were aware that you have an Astral body, right]?

If you were not aware, don't feel bad, hardly anyone in the West knows this... because in the West, we don't deal with that which the brain is unable to perceive [which means we don't bother with the three-quarters of one's Whole... which are invisible to the brain].  Remember the sketch...

I use this sketch quite often because it depicts the whole of oneself.  That is, it shows the three-quarters of Man that are invisible to the brain: #2, 3, and 4.  We can see #1, and the brain "thinks" this is all there is to Man.  But we are much more!

Man, the Whole of Man, consists of four separate dimensions, only one of which is physical, that one's brain and physical senses can see. This means that three-quarters of the Whole of oneself are Invisible!

And Invisible means composed of energies that exist beyond the range of one's physical senses, including one's brain.  In the above sketch this is illustrated as #4, the Soul and Spiritual Realm or dimension.

Located in the area of the forehead, between the two eyes... but not  being there physically... is the access "door" that we are told to "Knock" upon, and it shall be opened to us from "inside".  Well, "knock" refers to Meditation.  Meditation is simply knocking at an invisible doorway, that doesn't exist physically... so how does one find it?

Fortunately, that doorway operates automatically, and that gets into a discussion that goes beyond the point of this blog.  This blog is simply to say that the purpose of meditation is to knock upon a Spiritual doorway... which is invisible, and located in one's forehead.  And the question is "why do this"?

Well, Man is composed of several dimensions, other than the obvious physical one.  Each of us is built exactly the same, and the only difference between each of us is the level and nature of ones Consciousness?  And another phrase for Consciousness is Spiritual Knowledge.  And Spiritual Knowledge is the result of Completing Karma... and Karma is a process of action, and the return of that exact same action.  The symbol for Karma is this:

And this is the symbol for Yin and Yang.  Yang is the male out-going action, and Yin is that same action being taken against oneself.  The duality of life in the Creation, in other words.  Sadly, in the West, we ignore Karma, and we tend to "THINK" of events as "accidents" or the fault of someone other than ourselves.  And by doing this, we just keep loading more and more Karmic obligations upon ourselves.  I often use this symbol as a reminder:

Each lifetime means more Karma.  Until one learns how to begin to reduce the load of Karma by the use of Meditation.

Meditation is literally a means by which a person can seek forgiveness for one's actions... if one is engaged in the "proper" kind of meditation? And "proper" simply means a special kind of meditation whose purpose is expressly to dissociate oneself from one's store of Karma, held "Within" one's I-MIND.

And... to suggest that Meditation is capable of accomplishing this is, of course, suggesting that Meditation is a great deal more than what most people "think" it is.  And this discussion is...of necessity, moving us into a dialogue of the invisible dimensions of Man, and the most peculiar nature of discovering how one can "forgive" oneself? ...which is well beyond the purpose of this blog.  How about a blog about self-forgiveness?  Now that would be a challenge!

EXPLAINING THE MYSTERY OF MYSTICISM...

What makes Mysticism so mysterious and difficult to comprehend?

Well, for me, the  mystery of Mysticism was resolved almost two decades ago.  Although at the time, I was unaware that what I Intuited one evening would turn out to be the solution of  the mystery of Mysticism.   And this began by my writing down three terms:  "Neutral," "Spiritual," and "Energy".

Between 15 and 20 years ago, I happened upon the terms "Neutral, Spiritual, and Energy," while doodling on a piece of paper one evening.  That is, I was doodling, or just drawing random images on a piece of paper, while my MIND was running through a number of elements I had been working on for quite some time.

At that point in time, I was attempting to complete a more precise understanding of the Mystical elements that comprise the invisible aspects of Psychology, since these elements  seemed to be "invisible" to Man.   I had been working on the problem of a Psychology for the Whole Human Being,  for a very long time.  By "Whole," I mean both the physical part of Man and  the Invisible parts of Man.  This sketch illustrates what I was searching for at that time:

#1 is the physical body of Man, including the physical brain. #2, and #3 represent the "I-MIND" of Man (the "I" reminds us that the MIND is invisible to #1.  And #4 is the Spiritual Dimension of Man, and #4 also includes the Soul.  And my view of Psychology includes all of these dimensions.  One part physical, and thee parts Invisible.

I believe what we know as "Intuition" is a faculty of the Soul, and I also believe "Intuition" is unique in Man, because  it is the only part of Man that can experience all four dimensions of Man.  But what makes this particular bit of Intuition special... was that it identified the Energy of the Soul as "Neutral"!  What do you know that is "Neutral"?

I began a casual search for something that was "Neutral".  Guess what?  I have never found any part of the physical dimension that is Neutral! So, what makes the Spiritual in Man so difficult to deal with is that it is entirely Invisible to the brain and one's physical senses.  And this goes for the I-MIND as well.  I refer to this Invisible Energy of the Soul as "NSgy".

No wonder the oxymoron "behavioral psychology" [presented  by B.F. Skinner], has been trying to get rid of all reference to the MIND of Man since the early 1900s.  That's what's wrong with modern psychology.

Well, Skinner was entirely wrong, but he had a great many people who, like himself, were given to Intellectualism... (denial of the MIND while confined to the brain and thinking],  and thus unaware of how frightened they were of what was hidden "Within" the "I-MIND" of each person.

In the West, we are not taught about the three-quarters of the Whole of Man that are Invisible to the brain of Man. But denial does not make that three-quarters of oneself go away.

So, the mystery of Mysticism is simply a natural denial of that which is Invisible to oneself.  In other words, to discover the Mystical parts of oneself, one must learn how to do so.  And that is not an easy thing to accomplish.  It is also a bit scary.  But it is ultimately necessary if one wants to deal with Reality!

TWO IMPORTANT REASONS FOR A FIRM BELIEF IN GOD...

 1.  Perhaps the greatest reason for a firm belief in God is that of immortality of the Soul... which exists, whether you believe in God or not.   That is, regardless how awful one is in a particular lifetime [and that must be paid for, and will be paid for via the Law of Karma], one can be assured that one's Soul will survive anything one experiences.  How do I know this?  Because it is part of the Purpose of Life that we Souls fully explore and experience this Creation.  And to do this requires a great many lifetimes.

2.  And the second reason for a firm belief in God is that without such a belief, a Soul cannot make contact with the Mystical process that enables one's Soul to exit the Creation.  And this requirement applies to every Soul, and I am not talking about simply being religious.  There is an old saying that applies to this point.  The saying is this:  "When the Chela [student] is "ready," the Master appears".

For these two reasons, every Soul should be thankful to God for making the above part of the experience of every Soul.  We are all slowly evolving over time.

Regarding this being "ready"...  one might ask oneself this question:  Would I want to return Home to the Father, God, and be introduced to the greatest people of history... and, report that my greatest accomplishment was to knock old ladies down and steal their purses?    My point is that most people are simply not "ready" to return Home to God.  Preparation for one's return is not an easy thing to achieve... and most Souls are struggling just to be born as a human being.  Life is far more complicated than what one can imagine.

Parents... is your child's level of Consciousness and intelligence determined by you ?

In other words...  is a child a reflection of the parents of that child?  And does your child therefore simply reflect the heritage of the parents?

Secondly, is it possible that your child is substantially more enlightened that either parent?  That is, possess a more advanced MIND, and level of Consciousness than either parent?  And if the answer is yes, how is this possible?  Isn't a child simply a mix of the developmental levels of the parents of that child? That is, are a child's intelligence, Consciousness, and Knowledge not simply "inherited" from the parents?

Finally, what is the impact upon a child if that child is born to parents whose level of Consciousness and mental development are considerably less than that of the child?  And, how is this even possible?  Does not a child merely reflect the development of its parents?

The above comments and questions all revolve around the terms and concepts of Reincarnation,  Immortality of the Soul, and what happens to the Soul at the time of death?  And if you know all these things, then there is no point to you reading this blog.  However, if you do not know the answers to these things, then you might be interested in this blog?

The fact is... the Soul is immortal.  And every Soul is pure Spiritual Energy, which is the same Energy as that of God [which I refer to as Neutral Spiritual Energy], or "NSgy".   The Creation was "created," and it was created (the Mystics tell us)  by God projecting a stepped-down Spiritual Energy until it eventually  became physical matter.  And we refer to this last form of energy as the Physical Universe, which includes the Earth.

There are five dimensions to Existence. #1,2,3, are invisible to #4, and #5.  #4 is the Physical Universe, and #5 is the Earth.  And #1,2,3 are all invisible to [exist in realms whose vibrations are invisible to Man].

Now if you couple the fact that most people do not know the above, and that the Soul "Within" Man is not actually a part of the physical Man... the idea of Reincarnation is just another  fact most people in the West have not studied.  So, it is not surprising that people in the West are not familiar with the Law of Karma, which is the primary Law of Creation designed by God.

Every living thing has a Soul.  And the Purpose of Life is for each Soul to explore and experience the Creation until a Soul acquires a sufficient level of Consciousness that enables that Soul to "Spiritually" request that God help the Soul find its way back Home.  Not every Soul is "ready" to leave the Creation... because only Souls in the human form can do so.   And, every living thing has a Soul... even bugs and vegetables have Souls.

The evolution of one's Soul is a very long and quite involved process, and it takes many lifetimes to reach the level of Consciousness wherein a Soul desires to return Home... rather than to become rich and famous.

So, Reincarnation is part of a child's birth, but it is an important part!  And the reason a child may be very different from its parents is that somehow the parents "owe" that Soul a birth, but that Soul may not inherent anything of significance from those parents.  This is how a child of very humble, even uneducated parents, can be a genius.  Each Soul is quite independent, and it is the accumulated level of Consciousness in a Soul that determines who that person is, and the Fate Karma of that Soul that determines what that Soul will do and be in life?

This blog provides quite a lot to ponder, does it not?
